Join us for the eighth installment of the We Were There Series, which will highlight the experiences of some of our workforce who have deployed to Disaster Relief Operations. The Greater New York region is fortunate to have so many knowledgeable staff members that have supported operations locally, across the Northeast Division and nationally. Their experiences include Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Sandy responses, as well as recent responses to Hurricane Helene and Milton. During this discussion, our panelists will recollect their moments of pride, discuss lessons learned and provide tips on those who are considering deployment. This panel is being produced in conjunction with the 2024 Winter Training Weekend and is a collaborative effort between the Disaster Action Team, External Affairs and Disaster Workforce Engagement. Light refreshments will be provided to in-person attendees. We hope that you can join us! Date: Wednesday, December 4th Time: 6pm-7:30pm Location: 520 w 49th St, New York City, New York (Greater New York Headquarters). Virtual option also available.
