  • Providing an understanding of why we ask the questions;
  • Best practices for holding a dynamic client interview during Triage;
  • How to successfully use the Shelter Client Information App (SCIA) to record SRT Triage responses; and,
  • How SRT Triage information is used to inform operational decision making and plan for SRT Casework.

  • Who might be the first caregivers clients come in contact with? YOU! 
  • Be better prepared to recognize signs of stress, provide caring support 
  • Learn when to request further assistance for clients, co-workers and yourself. 
  • Learning what not to say can be a very important part of providing compassionate care.
Target Audience: Required for all Red Crossers

  • Demonstrate powered industrial truck safe driving practices and other safety standards
